I am back and settling in after the experience of a lifetime. The two trips, Kenya and Uganda were magical. Now, being home and looking at these pictures, I can’t believe how close I was to the gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda. Nor can I believe how human these gorillas feel. Being in their presence is like being with a zen master.

I know they have their squabbles, I know they have their drama. Yet, the taste of each leaf is savored.

The moment the gorillas stare at you feels like it is registered somewhere. Their presence is in contrast to how busy my mind can be. They are magnificent.
