Hope for Animals Summit and how it came about!!

Wildlife (specifically endangered species) and animal advocacy are the two directions that I personally am diving into and it will be expanded upon in my program, CWALU.  I am personally taking my second marine naturalist certification course and learning a lot.  CWALU, thankfully, is very solid in the animal communication and energy healing for animals departments, so it is great timing to expand.

Always when I’m on my dolphin trips, and particularly while on the trip to visit the White Lions, (a very endangered species), I always think about the idea that many people can’t travel and they live through about 7 years of my dolphin photos on facebook , posts are exchanged like sound bytes about topics of concern, but I wanted to do share something more with people.

An idea started formulating about creating something for people during this time of change – something where people could have hope and could take actions.  I wanted to create something where seasoned activists would find hope and the first time people wanting to reach out might do something more subtle like stop using anything with palm oil or vote with their dollars in other ways, or start calling their congressman/woman.  As the idea was expanding, I knew it would be a free online summit with great speakers and that the speakers would give an “advocacy kit”, these kits would have action steps for the listeners or ways that people could get involved afterward.

As the idea was still fresh, in December, I ran into Lisa Levinson with In Defense of Animals, I was actually hoping to ask her to be a speaker….as I started telling her about my idea she said “I’d like to partner with you on this.”  SO, now, we have the first ever Hope For Animals Summit happening at the end of February.  And, we have an amazing list of speakers, Wildlife (specifically endangered species) and animal advocacy are the two directions that I personally am diving into and it will be expanded upon in my program, CWALU.  I am personally taking my second marine naturalist certification course and learning a lot.  CWALU, thankfully, is very solid in the animal communication and energy healing for animals departments, so it is great timing to expand.
