We completed the Animals in Transition, Death, Dying and Beyond portion of the Intensive and now we are in the home stretch with Energy Healing for Animals.
The students had such a wonderful experience. In this particular module, everyone gets the opportunity to connect with their animals who have crossed the rainbow bridge. It is cathartic, and yet powerful.
Some of the students let go of guilt they had carried forever. Some of the students were able to see themselves as focusing on this work. Some of the students were able to remember wonderful little quirks and the largeness of the love the animals brought to the family. It was all of the things. I’m always so happy to see this work blossom.
Some people really dreaded coming to this portion of the Intensive and yet, they put their big girl panties on and came. Those are the same people who found the most healing out of the experience. That resistance turned into interest and turned into transformation.
It is easy to resist delving into grief. It is easy to resist coming face to face with the choices we made and the losses we have experienced. Yet it is brave to face it. There were tears, there was laughter and a deep appreciation for each other.
