Ease Your Animal Companion’s Anxiety When You Travel (and your own)!!

Two guided meditations: the first one will help you prepare for your trip with ease, and the other allows you to check in daily with your animals while you’re gone!

Travel can be fun, travel can bring up anxiety. Travel can be something that you just “have to do” because of work or family. Any way we look at it, the hardest part for most of us is leaving our animal companion’s behind.

I lead some pretty amazing trips around the world to see endangered species. In my heart, I’m thrilled with what I get to do. Yet, I find myself so sad when I get in the car to go to the airport. It isn’t until I’m checked in and in line for security that I say to myself, “OMG, I’m going on my dream trip!!”

Have you ever noticed that your animal starts to get anxious the minute you start to make travel plans? And then, you watch as it gets more amplified when the suitcase comes out?

Have you ever had your house sitter write to you and say that your animal isn’t eating? Or that he/she is mopey?

Or are you the one that can’t eat because you are worried about your animal companion at home?

Our animals pick up on our thoughts and feelings. Being present with all of that is sometimes hard when we have the distractions of everyday life. So I thought I could assist you with being calm about the trip and being able to check in with your animals while you’re gone.

One of the meditations is for you to help them understand what will happen. It is very important and simple. It also helps to calm ourselves down. When we exude calm, it is easier for our animals to calm down.

The second meditation is for when you are gone. You can send quick and easy messages to your animals. Rather than second guess if you are doing it right, you can just listen to this when you wake up, when you are on a break or right before you go to bed. I do this every night when I’m on a trip.

I've also included a PDF as to “why” it all gets frantic from an animal communication standpoint. When you understand the simplicity of the why, you can start to change what you say and how you feel about the upcoming trip.
